The School District of Mystery Lake remains committed to the partnerships within the community as identified by the Thompson Aboriginal Accord.

As an educational organization, we have led and participated in a variety of opportunities for community members, staff and students to learn about cultural proficiency, Indigenous perspectives and shared history. The district reaffirms the importance of the Truth and Reconciliation: Calls to Action. We believe it is the responsibility of all citizens to acknowledge and act on the 94 Calls to Actions. As a district, we are dedicated to the truth and reconciliation journey through action and advancement.

The district continues to contribute to a number of community committees including the Thompson Urban Aboriginal Strategy, Community Wellness and Public Safety, Thompson Community Response Team, National Indigenous Peoples Day, Hello Parents, Fall Camp and Spring Gathering Partnerships.
